Thousands learned a valuable lesson this weekend in privacy rights, celebrities, and the Internet when they tried to download pictures of ESPN’s Erin Andrews naked and ended up with a nasty virus. Just like in real life, downloading these pics left nasty consequences the morning after in the form of a computer hacker’s wet dream.

Which isn’t to say the video doesn’t exist: Footage of Playboy’s Sexiest Sportscaster (2008) undressing in a hotel room (while some peeping tom catches the footage from a peephole) attracted tons of attention last week when news of the video spread. Not too long after though, some white knight of Andrews’ came to her aid by teaching those that would gaze upon her unknowing flesh a nasty bug. It won’t stop people from downloading celebrity nude pics, but maybe
